THE MYSTERY OF BEING RIGHT OR WRONG

How can being right or wrong be a mystery? Millions of people every day in every culture use these words: “She’s right”, “He’s wrong”, “That’s right” or “It’s wrong”.

HP/SOS is capable of explaining options to such a form of thinking that interprets these words with the help of the three different levels of understanding.

First reality’s body with a conditioned brain is primarily the level of understanding that has always used these words, because the brain is conditioned to believe something is true or factual. In that level an abundance of energy goes into defending that fact or truth.

In first reality there is no person, ego, self or I to analyze one’s conditioned brain. What Behavioristic Psychology labels as a stimulus/response is a normal reaction for this expression.

A conditioned brain does not “think”, it reacts to what HP/SOS names a “knee jerk” response.

Why or how could a conditioned brain act otherwise?

Yes, you are thinking that means that a conditioned brain acts as if its conditioning is fact or truth. Does this mean that definitions that have been conditioned into one’s brain will act as fact or truth?

Yes, a brain’s conditioning will act as if it is revealing fact or truth.

This is why first reality has helped create an awesome technology and science, but first reality has created a terrible language interpretation for human understanding.

Why can’t the same language model of first reality deal with the nature of a human being?

First reality is adequate, if a human were a machine and that is what first happened when Behavioristic Psychology started investigating human nature using animals and birds for their experimentations. Using Behavioristic Psychology’s first reality’s cosmology interpretation, a human being is reducible to a physical body with a brain.

The beginning statements of this article about who or what is right or wrong fit Behavioristic Psychology perfectly.

In the Behavioristic model the world corresponds to one’s conditioning, however, this insight historically has proven to be a fatal mistake when used by humans in how this level of understanding is accepted as one’s only reality.

Using first reality language model interpretation of person, place and thing has resulted in a world where people are believed to be separate including separate cultures in which patriotism produces “rightness” for each culture and “wrongness” for those not supporting their cultural beliefs and habits.

Using first reality language in personal and social areas has produced arguments and war for countless ages.

These arguments do not stop until human beings awaken to a different reality.

HP/SOS names this new reality “second reality”.

This dynamic happening is the result of a paradigm shift within conscious awareness of a human’s understanding. This new human is suddenly capable of being cognizant of being aware that s/he relates to his or her own conditioning or awareness of awareness rather than an “out-there” world.

This insight is a human development that Dr. Carl Jung named “individuation” and Dr. Ernest Holmes named “the thinker”.

What is the difference between first and second reality?

First reality requires a “machine like” human that is trained or conditioned to follow orders given by his or her authorities, both secular and sacred. This is because this reality has no reflective ability capable of practicing options in his or her conditioned brain.

This establishes a learning method in which authority figures are the rulers and teachers of rules and regulations, as well as learning in general is believed to be input from external sources.

When second reality happens to a human being they are capable, for the first time, of using options to their brain’s conditioning. The reason they now have options in second reality is because the “birth” of a self, person, I or ego is now capable of being reflective of his or her own brain’s conditioning.

The most importance change that happens is that this paradigm shift with its reflective capability awakens a human to the realization that they have never been dealing with an outside world of fact or truth.

In first reality, they are a conditioned brain of other peoples’ opinions.

This means that they have not been relating to an outside world but to an inside consciousness within their brain. What they have accepted as conditioning is no longer right or wrong but someone else’s opinions that they have made their own reality.

This also opens a human to realize that learning does not come from the outside world but is an intuitive awakening inside.

Wow, you mean that a human now has a freedom over his or her behavior because s/he has never been reacting to outside or external people, places or things.

Statements seen or heard are interpretations of his or her own conditioned brain?

Yes, and this also dramatically changes how a person lives his or her life because with this awakened reflection capability s/he is now responsible for his or her reactions. With this second reality awareness, statements are no longer truth or fact but are behaviors his or her conditioned brain is producing as his or her behavior.

This opens the doorway to options for the first time in a person’s life because s/he now has empowerment to replace conditioning that no longer serves his or her world.

Yes, it is the end of the “blame game”. Yes, it is the end of struggle and argument with one’s world. Argument with one’s world is replaced with refereeing or the choosing of options within one’s own consciousness.

Everything so far sounds great, however, where and how does one learn options to replace his or her current conditioning? Also how can an option in its idea stage replace a lifetime conditioning or habit?

Great questions because there is more insight needed.

After second reality awareness has changed one’s world to some degree, a new set of questions begin to happen. These new questions can lead to a beginning of another paradigm shift.

This new paradigm shift awakens a person to their transcendent aspect or cosmic consciousness. HP/SOS has named this new paradigm “third reality”. It explains first and second reality as steps or stages of the Infinite Itself, or what Dr. Jung named “the collective unconscious” and Dr. Holmes named “the universal mind”.

This helps explain the importance of second reality in which a person stops struggling with his or her world and starts accepting his or her dreams. This is because after a human has awakened to his or her individual consciousness s/he is now prepared to awaken to the realization taught to us by Dr. Holmes.

It is that a human’s mind and the universal mind are one and the same mind in which conscious awareness of this results in an empowerment awakening.

Are you saying that humans with all their struggles, limitations and wars have always had a pre-existing potential that is unlimited?

Yes, yes, yes. And that is why HP/SOS is an inclusive philosophy in which all knowledge is explained by the level of understanding discovering it.

This is why HP/SOS has created an organization fulfilling two goals or purposes that were requested by Dr. Ernest Holmes before his death to James Pottenger.

These two goals have been established as follows: 

1.From a third reality comprehension every human being is an extension of the Infinite, therefore, every path a human is taking to awakening to his or her Infinite Nature is justified. So HP/SOS ordains leaders of self-help systems (sacred or secular) that have a strong desire to make this world a better place and they must have a minimum of ten to twenty years of service in their system of teaching.
2.From a third reality comprehension, HP/SOS is a research team, establishing a synthesis of human knowledge in which we are demonstrating how each particular subject (secular and sacred) is in fact a part of a whole when this insight or interrelationship is understandable.
